Guest Ratings & Reviews
Despite the festival weekend under my wife's name, the hotel offers spacious rooms with a very large bathroom, though they do smell old due to the building's age. The service, including the kind staff like Rita at the front desk and Manuelita and Maria, has been really helpful with our many requests, though being informed about opening my own account for 'Open Table' was unexpected. The location near the theater district is convenient for both tourists and business travelers, though it was disappointing to encounter homeless people nearby. The dining experience varies daily with rich cuisines, especially the special North American hotel breakfast such as the Mexican beef roll, despite minor issues like washcloths and coffee supplies not being replenished. The hotel's facilities are great, but the fitness center's limited washcloths initially posed a challenge.
I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel! The rooms were beautifully decorated and included a huge bathroom with a shower and garden tub, making it feel luxurious. However, the noise from the road and construction works in the area was a bit of a downside.
The hotel is ideally located downtown with historical elements and a vibrant atmosphere. The rooms are luxurious, featuring huge tiled walk-in showers and total black-out curtains; the bathroom was my favorite part. However, there was a slight issue with a mildew smell and excess humidity affecting the windows. The service was warm, friendly, and professional, making the stay very personable. The dining options were fresh and well overseen by the staff. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of downtown near the Metro Rail for easy exploration.
The hotel boasts luxurious rooms with separate bathtubs and showers, blackout curtains, and a vintage decorative style. The space offers stunning views of Main Street, the Houston skyline, and the Minute Maid Park. The service is top-notch with incredibly welcoming staff. The location is prime for both business and leisure travelers, although it can be loud at times. While the dining can be a bit overpriced, the hotel facilities are well-maintained and offer a range of services.
